positrontexture When I listen to this album I am transported to another world with intertwining stories and characters. Yes it's a great work/study album but take some time and listen it with your eyes closed at least once! Favorite track: The City, Daytime.

Bestiary the original Color Sky helped us through a lot of really hard times, as did many of Ben's other releases. so much so that his music became a staple of our childhood, and more importantly, surviving said childhood. now, on the exact day that we celebrate two full years since escaping that terrible home, a follow up has been released to one of our favorite albums ever, and its everything we wanted it to be.

Ryan Phillips We see a vast cityscape from above. Skyscrapers. Spotlights. We cannot even tell if there is a bottom to this place. We rush downward, a flurry of people, commerce. It goes on forever. Skytrams ferry customers from restaurants to shops, and they never quite know where they are. Nowhere near the bottom. But as controlled as it seems, there are undercurrents. Beyond the perfume counters, there's resistance. They call themselves The Faded, and their clothes are too unfashionable to be sold here. Favorite track: Faded Paths.

about

The sequel to Color Sky is finally here. Like Color Sky, Transmissions from a Hidden World takes you on a journey through your own subconscious. Each track is meant to feel like it is part of something larger; a mysterious, veiled world from which you can only catch fleeting glimpses. One of the great pleasures of music is its ability to transport us to another place that, while it exists only in our minds, feels as though it resides on some higher plane of existence, just out of our reach. I've tried to capture that feeling with this album.

Like with Color Sky, I hope you can enjoy this on its own, or while traveling, working, or studying.

The fabulous album art and all video content was made by the incomparable Maren Pan. You can find more of their work here: behance.net/paarsec
